Welcome to our website: the Academy of Personalized Learning is organized by parents, community members, and educators as a K-12 California Charter Public School serving families in Shasta County. The mission of the Academy of Personalized Learning is to provide a variety of innovative teaching methods and opportunities for teachers, parents, pupils, and community members to improve pupil learning.

Summer Office Hours: APL’s June office hours will be Monday through Thursday, 8 am to 2 pm starting June 8. The office will be closed during the month of July and will reopen on August 3.

APL is hosting a science, technology, engineering, art, & math (STEAM) Summer Fun Academy. Managed and operated by David Ewart, with over 10 years experience in directing STEM Camps in Shasta County.For detailed information visit the STEAM website.

Please remind all your students and families that we have a CLOSED campus... no exceptions... no excuses. It appears that we need to develop a heightened awareness of our surroundings. With a higher level of awareness, we will develop an enhanced measure of safety.

APL is accepting new students for the 2015/16 school year. orientations are held weekly beginning August 5th at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays at APL, 2195 Larkspur Lane.

Surveys for Parents and High School Students: APL conducts an annual Parent Survey about our program, which we hope that one parent/guardian from each APL family will complete. We also have a High School Student Survey, which we hope that all APL high school students will complete. We appreciate the feedback we get from our community as we try to keep our program responsive to your needs. Thanks in advance for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. The survey is being conducted online from December 1 through January 12.
